My story

Timothy Adewole

I am Timothy Adewole. People know me as The Rabbi, because a rabbi is a teacher, and teaching is at the center of everything I do.

My journey has taken me through engineering, teaching, pastoral leadership, and working with young people. Each experience has shaped how I understand people, growth, and the responsibility that comes with knowledge. I have come to believe that people need more than information or motivation; they need to understand who they are, develop what they carry, and learn to use it meaningfully. That conviction is at the heart of my work today. Through The Rabbi Global, my teaching, and my writing, I am committed to helping people reconcile with purpose—not simply to become successful by the world's standards, but to discover, develop, and deploy their God-given capacity in service of others. Because I believe our lives find deeper meaning not just in what we become, but in what our becoming makes possible for the world.

Background

I have always been curious about how things work and why people do what they do. That curiosity led me to study Mechanical Engineering, but over time, I found myself just as interested in understanding people as I was in understanding systems. Through teaching, pastoral leadership, and mentoring young people, I began to see how much of a difference it makes when someone is helped to understand who they are, recognise their potential, and take responsibility for what they can become. Today, as The Rabbi, I bring that conviction into my teaching and leadership: helping people discover their purpose, develop their capacity, and use what they have to make a meaningful contribution to the world.

Education

  • B.Eng Mechanical Engineering

    Covenant University, Ota Nigeria.

  • Software Engineering

    Semicolon Africa, Yaba, Lagos Nigeria.

Vision

To lead a global movement of young people, built on Purpose, motivated by Impact and driven byLegacy, from Africa to the rest of the world.

Mission

I am on a mission to redefine adolescent beliefs about purpose, reorganize the concept of youth and lead a generation in making Jesus proud as they prioritize living by Original Design.

What I believe.

  • Everyone has a unique contribution

Nobody is here by accident. Each person carries something the world needs.

  • Purpose is discovered, developed, and deployed

It is not enough to find it. It has to be built up and put to work.

  • Growth should lead to contribution

Personal growth that stops at the self has missed the point.

  • Identity and purpose are connected

Knowing who you are clarifies what you are called to do.

  • Mindset shapes how we answer our calling

How you think decides how you respond to opportunity, pressure, and doubt.

  • Young people should be equipped to live intentionally

A generation that is taught early can contribute meaningfully to society.
