Die empty.

The message that captures everything I teach.

You can just take a look around and see how purposeless people live their lives. Just wanting to get by life. As far as there is food and drink and raiment they’re good.

They wake up in the morning, go out in the day, and all that drives them is ‘Kasamajeun’.

What a life.

The reason for this is the mindset with which people have grown up with. You’re born into a world and to a people whose philosophy of life is hinged on the term ‘hustle’. You just hustle your way through life till death calls for you. Everyone is living on survival mode.

So tragic and distasteful to the One who made man. Earth which was made for the exhibition of the glory of God has become a jungle where the order of the day is survival of the fittest.

If you find yourself ever dreaming to become something big, someone great and anything apart from mediocre, you are rare. This rareness ought to be normal but a dense population of humans don’t have what you have.

The sad part is, those who live life with the survival mindset don’t stop at themselves. They consciously, and subconsciously propagate and validate that lifestyle making people who stand out of the crowd to become anything different, look like they are doing unnecessarily too much.

Hey! Don’t give them a chance!

They’re all out ready and willing to steal the dreams of young men and women like you and I. They promote silly statements like, “what will be will be”, “it’s not that deep”, “I cannot come and kill myself”, “school na scam” and the list is endless.

These statements are subtly hypnotic, making people, especially young adults and teenagers envision and settle for a mediocre life. But that’s not you, isn’t it?

You’re going to be different. You’re going to break away from the status quo. You’ll refuse to trade your dreams and aspirations for frivolities. You’ll put in the work today because you know it’s paving the way for tomorrow. You’ll refuse to cave in and choose to be exceptional. You’ll refuse to succumb to the ills that betide those who come from your family background. You’ll run like a soldier who has a dream to birth!

It does not matter what percentage population of young adults are losing themselves to vices, you won’t be a contributor to the increment of that percentage.

You won’t be lost in the noise. Keep your dreams. Not everyone has them.

The only thing stopping you from becoming the dreams you have is your choice to pursue them.

I know they may seem too far reaching, but pursue notwithstanding. I know your family background looks nothing like where you dream of, but dare to be different. I know the society is giving more wrong examples than good, but zoom in on those who are doing great and like the Bible says, “follow those who through faith and patience obtained the promise.” Heb 6:12

That hunger in you for more is the only drive you need. Satisfy it. That thirst in you to live an impactful life is the only motivation you need. Give in to it. Decide to be the best version of yourself by every standard, by waking up each day and saying to yourself, “I am different, and today, I’ll make a difference!”

Myles Munroe of blessed memory says,

The wealthiest place in the world is not the gold mines of South America or the oil fields of Iraq or Iran. They are not the diamond mines of South Africa or the banks of the world. The wealthiest place on the planet is just down the road. It is the cemetery. There lie buried companies that were never started, inventions that were never made, bestselling books that were never written, and masterpieces that were never painted. In the cemetery is buried the greatest treasure of untapped potential.
Myles Munroe

Don’t die old, die empty!

Do you want to add to the wealth of the graveyard? I doubt that. Step out of mediocrity and launch faithfully into the deep oceans of purpose, living out God’s best for you! Don’t allow the waves of the ocean prevent you from launching in. Step in and there, you master the waves! You won’t know how much impact you can make in your lifetime until you actually see the lives you impact. There’s only one way to know: DIE EMPTY!

Really Champion, the ball is in your court. Dare to score goals!

Do this for me, for you and also for the rest of those who would be changed and motivated by your success.

Get a book, your journal somewhere to take notes. Now, list those things you are going to strive for and become. It may be large but don’t make a mistake of doubting its possibility. For with God, all things are possible. Wake up and look at it. Some time during the day, have another look. Just before the gates of your eyes are shut, glance at them again. Gradually and surely, you’ll see those things come alive. (Make sure they are impact motivated)

Say this to yourself,

“I am different and today I’ll make a difference!”

Jesus is rooting for you heavily!
